How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You can also pay by Money Order, but please place an order via the website or phone and get an order number before sending us a Money Order. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks.
How do you ship?
We ship most items by USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, which means that it should reach you one to three business days after we ship it.
When will you ship?
In most cases we will ship your order within 2 to 5 business days of receipt. The only time of the year when this does not apply is after our deadline for Christmas ordering. (see last question on this page for those details). Also, due to the production process, in some cases jewelry, keychains, and some handmade items may take up to 21 days. If for some reason (i.e., manufacturer back-orders, etc.) we cannot meet this target we promise to notify you via e-mail or phone with estimated shipping & delivery dates. And, we will always notify you as soon as your order ships.
Do you ship partial orders?
We do not ship partial orders. For example, if you order two items and we have one in stock but the other must be ordered or made, we will wait until the second item is ready and ship both items together.
How much do you charge for shipping?
The May 2007 raise in USPS Priority Mail rates has influenced our shipping rates. Shipping is $5.45 for all U.S. orders under $10.00. Shipping is $5.95 for all U.S. orders between $10.00 and $14.99. Shipping is $6.45 for all U.S. orders between $15.00 and $19.99. Shipping is $6.95 for all U.S. orders $20.00 and above. Shipping will never be more than $6.95 no matter how much you order.
When can I expect to receive my package?
Once shipped, orders should arrive in one to three business days.
What happens if I don't receive my order?
As indicated above, we always notify you as soon as your order ships, and we give estimated dates of arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible if your package has not arrived within the estimated dates of arrival. Since all orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, we take responsiblity for any orders that are shown as not delivered by the USPS within a reasonable amount of time by resending those orders at no charge. We cannot take responsiblity for packages shown as delivered by the USPS but not received by the customer, and in situations where we are not contacted within 7 business days of the latest estimated date of arrival. In these cases it is best to contact the local USPS office directly.
Do you ship to foreign countries?
We ship only to destinations within the U.S. We do not ship to foreign countries.
What is your return policy?
If within 30 days of receiving your item from Schatzi's Treasures you and/or your canine/feline friend are not 100% satisfied, please contact us! We will cheerfully refund your full payment for any item in its original condition, and on any unopened calendar. Any item returned to us in its original condition between 31 and 45 days after customer receipt will be charged a 50% late/restock fee. Sorry, but we cannot provide a refund for items returned to us after 45 days. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.
How do I know that an item I've placed an order for is in stock?
If an item is not in stock, the message: "PLEASE NOTE: THIS ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK" will appear above the Add To Cart box. Although rare, due to the real-time nature of the Internet, there is a possibility that many people could be placing order(s) for the same product just seconds before you. Therefore, the site may show it in stock at the time you are looking at it, but it may indeed have gone out of stock by the time you click the Add To Cart Button. If this is the case, we will notify you by email before we process your order.
Do you have a privacy policy?
Yes! All of your information will be kept in-house, and strictly confidential. We will not share any of your information with anyone at anytime. Schatzi is very adamant about this!
What is the latest date I can place an order for Christmas delivery in 2007?
The last day to place an order using your credit card for shipment in time for Christmas delivery is Saturday, December 15th at 3:00pm EST. If for some reason, (e.g. manufacturer back-orders, etc.) we cannot ship in time for Christmas delivery before Saturday, December 15th at 3:00pm EST we promise to notify you via e-mail or phone within 1 business day. All orders using a Money Order as payment must be placed by Monday, December 3rd at 4:00pm.
